How to Register
In person, call 416-691-6320 or email info@nakedsheep.ca Payment Classes must be paid for in full when you register and are non-refundable and non-transferable. All class fees include taxes and we offer a one time 15% store wide discount on the day of class, regular priced items, excluding class fees. Missed Lessons Missed classes are not transferable to the next session and will not be refunded. If you do have to miss a class, our staff is available during store hours if you have questions about your project Project Materials Project materials for all courses are not included in the class price unless otherwise stated. Class Cancellations In cases of class cancellation, the Naked Sheep will notify you and either refund the class fee, or sign you up for the next session, according to your preference and class availability. |

Learn to Knit - $60. Includes Yarn and
needles! Learn to Crochet - $40 - Includes hook and yarn! January 19th & 26th 7pm to 9pm (Class Length: 2 – two hour session) March 23rd & 30th Instructor: Sandra Jean-Louis Want to expand your fiber habit to include the wonderful world of crochet or just want to learn the basics? This two session class will walk you through the foundation chain, single and half double crochet, double, triple crochet stitches and slip stitch. During the 2nd class, you will learn how to crochet granny squares, crochet in the round & understand basic crochet terminology. |

MARCH BREAK CLASSES FOR KIDS!!! Learn to Crochet March 19th 9am to Noon Your child will learn how to create a slip knot, chain stitch, single crochet and bind off. These skills will be enough for her/him to create scarves, blankets and anything square! FOR SPINNERS: Spinning on A Wheel 101 - $125, includes roving. January 9th & 16th & 23rd & 30th 9am to 11am (4-two hour sessions) April 10th, 17th, May 1st and May 8th (4 – two hour sessions) Don't have a spinning wheel, but interested in giving it a spin? We have four wheels for use during the class! Sign up early, one is spoken for! If you have a wheel, please bring it in good working order, 3 bobbins, lazy kate, solid-coloured apron or lap cloth Instructor: Julia Lee Minimum Participants: 3 Learn how to work with your spinning wheel to create beautiful useable yarns. This series of classes will be geared to the absolute beginner and “still pretty new at it” spinner. It will cover adjusting the wheel to optimize success, learning to treadle, spinning a continuous single thread, and plying. For the first three lessons we will concentrate on spinning wool. After that, who knows…! Learn to Make YARN on A Drop Spindle - $50.00 – includes a drop spindle and roving! Toe Up Socks with a Gusset Heel -
$40 - Includes 4.5mm DPN's and yarn
March 14th and 21st. 10am to noon (2-two hour session) Class Length: 2 – two hour sessions You will learn the very popular toe-up sock construction with a gusset heel. Most toe-up sock patterns have a design flaw in the heel which can cause problems with the eventual fit. You will learn how to diagnose and fix any fit problems as you encounter them. Easy 1st Project! Knit a Neck Warmer! -

February 1st 6pm to 8pm (1-two hour session) Pattern included. Please bring one ball of Rowan Big Wool and 9mm 16” circular needles. Instructor: Lisa Farmakovski We will teach you how to make a nice bulky cowl (neck warmer) in the round. This is a great project to try out new stitch patterns, colour work and makes a great gift. Participants must know how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off. |

Specialty Classes LOOKING AT COLOR PLACEMENT IN FAIR ISLE with Fiona Ellis $45 + materials - Class Length: 1 – three hour session March 27th 9am to Noon In this workshop Fiona will demonstrate using her samples how working a Fair Isle chart in different colour combinations can totally change the effect produced. She will discuss how to apply colour theory to aid in successful colour selections, and possible alternatives. You will have time to experiment by working swatches in different colour combinations. Includes square paper and coloured pencils to use during the class.
