All class fees include taxes and we offer a one time 15% store wide discount on the day of class, regular priced items, excluding class fees. Missed Lessons Missed classes are not transferable to the next session and will not be refunded. If you do have to miss a class, our staff is available during store hours if you have questions about your project Project Materials Project materials for all courses are not included in the class price unless otherwise stated. Class Cancellations In cases of class cancellation, the Naked Sheep will notify you and either refund the class fee, or sign you up for the next session, according to your preference and class availability.

	Learn to Knit - $60. Includes Yarn and needles! January 11th & 18th & 25th 6pm to 8pm (Class Length: 3 – two hour sessions) - January classes are FULL February 8th &15th & 22nd 6pm to 8pm (Class Length: 3 – two hour sessions) March 8^th, 22^nd & 29^th - 6pm to 8pm (Class Length: 3 – two hour sessions) April 12^th, 19^th & 26^th 6pm to 8pm (Class Length: 3 – two hour sessions) Instructors: Emily Foden & Lisa Farmakovski Lets us teach you how to knit! In this 3 session class, we will show you all you need to know to get you started and challenge you to start your 1st project. 1st class: Cast on, learn how to knit & purl, garter stitch, stockinette stitch 2nd class: Increasing, decreasing, reading your knitting, fixing mistakes, cast off, adding 2nd ball or colour 3rd class: Importance of gauge, yarn weights, knitting terminology, Q&A


	Learn to Crochet - $40 - Includes hook and yarn! January 19th & 26th 7pm to 9pm (Class Length: 2 – two hour session) March 23^rd & 30^th 7pm to 9pm (Class Length: 2 – two hour session) Instructor: Sandra Jean-Louis Want to expand your fiber habit to include the wonderful world of crochet or just want to learn the basics? This two session class will walk you through the foundation chain, single and half double crochet, double, triple crochet stitches and slip stitch. During the 2nd class, you will learn how to crochet granny squares, crochet in the round & understand basic crochet terminology.


	Refresher Knitting! - $25 - Includes yarn and needles! March 5^th– 6pm to 8pm (1 – two hour session) April 23^rd – 6pm to 8pm (1 – two hour session) Instructor: Emily Foden Did you learn how to knit eons ago and just need a refresher session to get you back in the saddle? We will teach you the cast on, knit, purl and cast off techniques you think you’ve forgotten!


	Parent and Me - $60 - Includes yarn and needles for both participants. February 5th, 6pm to 8pm (1-two hour session) - 2 spots left Instructor: Emily Foden

	MARCH BREAK CLASSES FOR KIDS!!! Learn to Crochet March 19th 9am to Noon Your child will learn how to create a slip knot, chain stitch, single crochet and bind off. These skills will be enough for her/him to create scarves, blankets and anything square! Price: $50 Includes hook and yarn and snacks Class Length – 1 three hour session Minimum Participants: 2 Maximum Participants: 4 Instructor: Emily Foden Learn to Knit March 18th 9am to Noon Your child will learn how to cast on, knit and cast off. 	FOR SPINNERS: Spinning on A Wheel 101 - $125, includes roving. January 9th & 16th & 23rd & 30th 9am to 11am (4-two hour sessions) April 10th, 17th, May 1st and May 8th (4 – two hour sessions) Don't have a spinning wheel, but interested in giving it a spin? We have four wheels for use during the class! Sign up early, one is spoken for! If you have a wheel, please bring it in good working order, 3 bobbins, lazy kate, solid-coloured apron or lap cloth Instructor: Julia Lee Minimum Participants: 3 Learn how to work with your spinning wheel to create beautiful useable yarns. This series of classes will be geared to the absolute beginner and “still pretty new at it” spinner. It will cover adjusting the wheel to optimize success, learning to treadle, spinning a continuous single thread, and plying. For the first three lessons we will concentrate on spinning wool. After that, who knows…! Learn to Make YARN on A Drop Spindle - $50.00 – includes a drop spindle and roving! February 11th & 18th 6pm to 8pm (2-two hour sessions) April 15th & 22nd 6pm to 8pm (2 – two hour sessions) Want to learn how to make yarn using a drop spindle? The spindle is one of the oldest tools used for making yarn. We include all you need to get you started – a drop spindle, some roving and an excellent instructor! Instructor: Missy Westgate!


	How to CABLE without a Cable needle! - $20 + materials March 26th 630-830pm (1-two hour session) Want to speed up your cable knitting? Let Kate show you how to cable without a cable needle. This will forever change the way you look at knitting cables. Instructor: Kate Atherley

	Toe Up Socks with a Gusset Heel - $40 - Includes 4.5mm DPN's and yarn March 14th and 21st. 10am to noon (2-two hour session) Class Length: 2 – two hour sessions You will learn the very popular toe-up sock construction with a gusset heel. Most toe-up sock patterns have a design flaw in the heel which can cause problems with the eventual fit. You will learn how to diagnose and fix any fit problems as you encounter them. Sock experience not required, but you must have experience working with DPNs. Instructor: Kate Atherley

	Project Class - $100 + materials January 17th & 24th & 31st & February 7th & February 14th 10am to noon (5-two hour sessions) March 28th, April 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th. 10am to noon (5 – two hour sessions) Instructor: Kate Atherley Please bring your pattern you want to tackle, appropriate yarn and needles. Want to knit a sweater but don’t know where to start? Let Kate help you through from beginner to end: from reading the pattern, understanding gauge, increasing, decreasing, fit for YOUR body, and seaming! This is class is suitable for newer knitters and will increase your confidence to tackle any knitting challenge.

	The Baby Surprise Jacket - $40 + materials, includes pattern January 3rd & 10th, 10am to noon (2-two hour session) Instructor: Kate Atherley Please bring yarn and appropriate sized needles. Use chart below to determine size and yardage to bring See our two samples at the Shop! This two-session class guides you through Elizabeth Zimmerman's clever BSJpattern. You’ll learn how to read the pattern and all key stitches & skills needed. Learn about yarn choices, sizing, and ways to customize the pattern – including adding a hood or collar & working with multiple colours. Suitable for newer knitters.

	Mitered Mittens - $40 + materials, includes pattern! February 28th & March 7th 10am to noon (2-two hour sessions) Please bring or buy one ball of Noro Kureyon, and 4.5mm DPN needles, includes pattern. Instructor: Kate Atherley Mitten-knitting is a key skill at this time of year. Whip up a pair of warm and fun mitts with our quick and easy pattern. Even if you're made mitts before, the mitered pattern is a great variation and is interesting to work.

	CLAPOTIS – Great first project! - $50 + materials February 16th & 23rd 6pm to 8pm (2-two hour sessions) Includes pattern YOU must print before class http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall04/PATTclapotis.html Please bring at least 500 yards of yarn and appropriate needles, as well as stitch markers. We can help you pick out your yarn. Instructor: Lisa Farmakovski The most popular scarf made by knitters around the world and we want to help you knit one. Easy, interesting and a whole bunch of fun to knit! Learn how to knit this amazing scarf and enjoy dropping the stitches on purpose! It can be easily adapted from a small scarf to a shawl size.

	Easy 1st Project! Knit a Neck Warmer! - $20 + materials February 1st 6pm to 8pm (1-two hour session) Pattern included. Please bring one ball of Rowan Big Wool and 9mm 16” circular needles. Instructor: Lisa Farmakovski We will teach you how to make a nice bulky cowl (neck warmer) in the round. This is a great project to try out new stitch patterns, colour work and makes a great gift. Participants must know how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off.



	Specialty Classes LOOKING AT COLOR PLACEMENT IN FAIR ISLE with Fiona Ellis $45 + materials - Class Length: 1 – three hour session March 27th 9am to Noon In this workshop Fiona will demonstrate using her samples how working a Fair Isle chart in different colour combinations can totally change the effect produced. She will discuss how to apply colour theory to aid in successful colour selections, and possible alternatives. You will have time to experiment by working swatches in different colour combinations. Includes square paper and coloured pencils to use during the class. Please bring part balls (a few yards each) in medium weight yarns, bring as many colours as you can and are willing to share, pair of yarn and appropriate needles. Instructor: Fiona Ellisbr />

	FREE WORKSHOPS! Learn how to make iCords!/a> March 9th – 6pm to 7pm Instructor: Emily Foden Let Emily show you how to make iCords that can be used for purse handles, embellishments or edgings!
